SSA Summer Camp 2024

*Registration will close for sleep-away camp sessions, Camp Presto and Camp Vivace, on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at midnight.

*Registration for day camp session, Camp Dolce, will close on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at midnight. 

 

SSA Summer Camp is open to students who currently play violin, viola, cello or bass. Camp Vivace and Camp Presto are sleep-away camp sessions for middle school and high school students, and Camp Dolce is a day camp for younger students in 4 – 6 grade.

• Tuition: 50% of tuition is due by June 15, 2024. Tuition is due in full by July 15, 2024.
• Tuition payments: we prefer checks. If you are able, please mail a check made out to ‘Superior String Alliance’ to our address at P.O. Box 52, Marquette, MI 49855. If you need to pay tuition via debit or credit card, you can pay online via our Paypal donation page. Please send us an email letting us know that you paid online and the name of your child.
• Scholarships are available, please apply within the registration form. If you are applying for a scholarship you will receive an email from SSA on the Tuesday after you register letting you know the scholarship amount we are able to give you.

Camp Dolce (day camp):

• Presque Isle Park Senior Pavilion, Marquette, MI
• Monday, July 15 – Wednesday, July 17
• 9:30am – 12pm each day
• For students who will be in grades 4 – 6 in the Fall of 2024 and who already have experience playing violin, viola, cello, or bass. 6th graders have a choice to register for Camp Dolce or Camp Presto, depending on their desired camp experience.
• Tuition: $175

CAMP DOLCE REGISTRATION LINK (Expect a registration confirmation email and scholarship notification email on the Tuesday after you register.)

 

Camp Vivace (sleep-away camp):

• Presbytery Point Camp, Michigamme, MI
• Check-in: Monday, July 22, 1pm – 3pm 
• Check-out: Sunday, July 28, 8pm
• For students who will be in grades 9 – 12 in the Fall of 2024, and for graduating seniors in the class of 2024. Must have experience playing violin, viola, cello, or bass.
• Tuition: $840

Camp Presto (sleep-away camp):

• Presbytery Point Camp, Michigamme, MI
• Check-in: Tuesday, July 30, 1pm – 3pm 
• Check-out: Saturday, August 3, 8pm
• For students who will be in grades 6 – 8 in the Fall of 2024. Must have experience playing violin, viola, cello, or bass. 6th graders have a choice to register for Camp Dolce or Camp Presto, depending on their desired camp experience.
• Tuition: $600
